ガパオ(กะเพรา)

Thai stir-fried minced pork with basil タイでは一般的な馴染みの深い料理で良く家庭でも食べるタイの国民食です。日本では鶏肉を使用したものが一般的ですが、タイでは鶏肉だけではなく豚肉や魚介など様々な食材が使用されます。作り方はとてもシンプルで、唐辛子とニンニク、ひき肉を強火で炒めたら、ナンプラーや砂糖で味付けをします。

ソムタム(パパイヤサラダ)

ソムタムとは、タイ料理で人気の青いパパイヤを使った本格サラダです。青パパイヤのシャキシャキ食感がやみつきになります!パパイヤを潰す特殊な器具が必要なので胡瓜で代用します。
