Teachers profile
I learned the basics of sushi at a sushi school in Tokyo. I have worked at Tsukiji Market, department stores, and sushi restaurants at foreign-affiliated hotels. I left the sushi restaurant to become a certified instructor for the Foreign Cooking Class Association in order to teach foreigners about the appeal of Japanese food and the fun of making Japanese food. As part of my work with the association, I also teach lessons for foreign chefs. Since it is currently difficult for me to communicate in English on my own, I will be teaching the Japanese food culture and Japanese cooking experience at our Yotsuya Kitchen in Tokyo for a while, mainly with foreigners who understand Japanese.
