Sake & Secrets: Discover the Heart of Japanese Home Cooking
A pairing experience filled with umami, clever tips, and cultural connection.
Only in Japan. Only here.
At Kazue Umami Kitchen, this hands-on cooking experience lets you explore the true harmony of Japanese home-style dishes and sake—something you can’t find online.
Have you ever tried sake? 🍶
This traditional Japanese drink is now loved around the world, and sake bars are popping up across many countries.
Many guests ask me, “What kind of dishes go well with the sake I can buy at home?”
That simple question inspired me to create this class.
You’ll learn not only the basics of sake pairing, but also how to prepare authentic dashi (Japanese soup stock), use seasonings the Japanese way, and discover home-cooking tips passed down through generations.
All recipes are easy to recreate, even back home—making this the perfect souvenir for your tastebuds and your heart.
✨ What You’ll Experience:

Try Japan’s No.1 most loved local dish—grilled eel over rice, served three traditional ways. A sensory journey of taste, aroma, and texture. - 🍨 Sweet Ending with Sake
Finish with a delicate Japanese dessert paired with a unique sweet sake. A perfect finale.
