Class Schedule

Kain Tulog is the name of my project. Cooking lessons have already started. I welcome both foreign and Japanese guests. The French guest (lower left photo) requested Niku-Jaga (meat and potatoes) as a recipe. I post monthly menus on my website https://kaintulog.jp/, but I am flexible in what the guests and I will make and eat. Before the lesson, let us discuss and decide on the menu. Please refer to my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/chitojapan/. For your information, I also run a guesthouse so you can stay overnight.Tatami Room (Japanese style) 5,000 JPY/person/night. Bed Room (Western style) 7,000 JPY/person/night.

Local Cuisines of the World

Local cuisines also called home cooking are becoming popular for foreign visitors to Japan and foreigners living in Japan. Home cooking and restaurants are different. What Japanese usually eat at home can be experienced in my lessons. For example, sardine dishes. Sardines are affordable and tasty hence a long-loved friend of Japanese people. Things to think about are sardines are caught all over the world and there are many ways to cook. I also want to introduce Keihan which is a classic homemade dish of Amami Oshima Island. It might be a good idea to make use of my overseas experience. Senegalese Thieboudienne (fish and rice), Filipino Adobong Pusit (marinated squid), French Soup de Poison (fish soup) . I have plenty of ideas. I look forward to seeing you.
