What’s Included In The Course

In Japan, “mother’s home cooking,” passed down through generations, is filled with love and cherished memories.
In this class, through such heartwarming home-style dishes, you can experience Japanese cuisine with all five senses — from delicate presentation and beautiful colors, to gentle aromas, and even the comforting sound when you take a bite.
Beginners are always welcome, and you will enjoy the pleasure of cooking, the joy of eating, and the happiness of gaining a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.

① Simmered Burdock Root with Sweet and Savory Minced Pork
This dish was made by my mother so that I could eat the same meal as the rest of the family, as I could only eat minced meat when I was a child.
(If burdock root is not available, you can make this dish with lotus root instead)

② Crispy Fried Shrimp Wontons

It’s a dish I often helped with, because I loved the process of wrapping
The crispy sound when you take a bite makes this dish especially appetizing

③ Kinpira-Style Carrots and Green Peppers
A pleasantly crisp bite It brings color and vibrancy to the table
